Jane Weathers grew up on a small farm in South Dakota, the youngest of six children. As a child she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior, and since then her Bible and her faith have been her most treasured possessions. She attended Freeman Junior College and taught in a country school for one year. She received a B.S. degree in education from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In her twenty-four years of teaching, mostly in Christian schools, she taught students of all ages and worked one-on-one with children having learning difficulties. A highlight of those years was teaching Bible stories with applications to little ones. Jane is passionate about good physical and spiritual health, and wants to encourage others to read the whole counsel of God. She delights to say “yes” to spontaneous calls for help from family and friends. Jane and her husband, Ted, currently reside in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. They have three married sons and six grandchildren.
